Robert BigmanRetired Chief Information Security Officer, Central Intelligence Agency
Robert Bigman recently retired as Chief Information Security Officer for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), a position he held for the past 15 years.
A pioneer in the field of classified information protection, Mr. Bigman developed technical measures and procedures to manage the nation’s most sensitive secrets and has worked in every area of information and data security. He also served as the agency’s designated officer for all discussions with the information security industry and its commercial partners. Mr. Bigman’s responsibilities included cryptography, information security policy / processes, standards and requirements, testing, and network defense / response. Mr. Bigman has contributed to almost every intelligence community information security policy / technical standard and has provided numerous briefings to the National Security Council, congress, and presidential commissions. Mr. Bigman’s earlier assignments at the CIA included participation in the technical design of the intelligence community’s first counterterrorism database and delivery of the agency’s first secure TCP / IP local and wide area network for the Counterintelligence Center. In recognition of his expertise and contributions, Mr. Bigman has received numerous CIA and Director of National Intelligence awards.

Mr. Eckel is a certified security professional and a known authority on strategic, innovative, and practical security, risk, and compliance solutions. He is an expert in managing complex compliance-, audit-, risk- and security requirements and implementing simple, effective, and fail-IT solutions.
Pravin KothariFounder and Chief Executive Officer, CipherCloud
Pravin Kothari is a security visionary and serial entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in successfully bringing new products to market in information security.
Kothari is Chief Executive Officer at CipherCloud, a leader in cloud encryption that is removing the data privacy, residency, security, and compliance barriers to cloud adoption for enterprises worldwide. Prior to founding CipherCloud in 2010, he was founder, Chief Technology Officer, and Interim-CEO of RiskVision. Previously, Mr. Kothari was co-founder and Vice President of Engineering of ArcSight, a leading security company, where he led product development for five years from inception to market dominance. ArcSight was acquired by HP in 2010 for over $1.5 Billion. Prior to ArcSight, Mr. Kothari was co-founder and Chief Architect at Impresse Corporation. He has also held technical leadership positions at Verity, Attachmate, and Tata Consultancy Services. Mr. Kothari holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Bombay. He is a certified information systems auditor (CISA), certified information systems security professional (CISSP), and charter member of TiE, a global organization dedicated to the advancement of entrepreneurship.
Kenneth J. TyminskiIndependent Consultant / Retired Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, The Prudential Insurance Company of America
Kenneth J. Tyminski is an information technology veteran with more than 32 years of experience.
Mr. Tyminski serves as an independent consultant specializing in strategic advisory services for technology companies, business enterprises, and industry associations with a focus in the area of information security and risk management. He retired as Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer for the Prudential Insurance Company of America. In this position he was responsible for ensuring that Prudential’s business systems were architected appropriately, implemented securely, and protected from malicious outsiders and insiders. Prior to his assignment as Prudential’s first Chief Information Security Officer, Mr. Tyminski held several other prominent positions and is well known in the industry as a visionary, strategic thinker, and early adopter. Mr. Tyminski serves on advisory boards of companies such as CipherCloud Inc., Aternity Inc., AirPatrol Corporation, Lancope Inc., Invincia Inc., and Voltage Security Inc. Mr. Tyminski graduated Magna Cum Laude from Upsala College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Mr. Tyminski also has earned a certificate in Electrical Engineering Technology from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
